Privacy Policy

Guest Recovery Book is a guest-recovery log for restaurants, made by Zantix LLC. A team member records a guest’s bad experience so the store can make it right. This page says what the app collects and what happens to it.

What we collect

• Account details for team members: name, email address and a password (stored hashed, never readable by us).
• Store details: the store name.
• Guest recordsyour team types in: the guest’s name and, if given, phone number, email and receipt number; what went wrong; the items involved; notes; an optional photo of the receipt or report; and who logged it. These are about your guests, entered by your team, and belong to the store.
• Billing: if a store subscribes, payment is handled by Stripe. We keep Stripe’s customer and subscription ids and the plan status. We never see or store card numbers.
• Technical logs: request logs from our hosting providers (timestamps, IP address, device type) kept briefly for keeping the service running.

What we do with it

• Show the board to your store’s team so a guest is followed up.
• Charge the subscription and send billing receipts (via Stripe).
• Answer support requests.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, contact your guests, or share anything with anyone except the providers below who run the service for us.

Who handles it for us

• Supabase (database, file storage and sign-in), hosted in the United States.
• Vercel (web hosting).
• Stripe (payments).

Your guests

Guest records are kept so the store can make things right, and each one expires from the active board after 14 days. Your store is responsible for what it records about guests and for honoring a guest’s request to be removed; a team member can delete a record at any time.

Keeping and deleting data

Your data stays as long as your store exists, including through a lapsed subscription. Anyone can delete their own account from Account; a manager can delete the whole store, every record and every account in it. You can also email us to have it done.

Children

Guest Recovery Book is for restaurant teams and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll say so in the app or by email to the store’s managers.
